About the Business
My main passion in life is encouraging people to think differently about food to support optimal health, and I strongly believe that heathy food doesn't have to be boring; simple healthy meals can be packed full of flavour and taste great! My particular interest in nutrition began when I became ill as a teenager with ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Having spent many years housebound with little medical support, I sought the help of complementary practitioners and began to make changes to my diet and lifestyle.
Motivated by the significant improvements to my own health through nutrition, I decided to train as a Nutritional Therapist. I studied for a diploma and foundation science degree in Nutritional Therapy at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), graduating with distinction and the Ian Marber Award for 'Outstanding Literature Review'. I then founded Nutrition for ME, using my own experience to support others through nutrition.
