Nutrition Glasgow evolved to meet the need for quality nutrition advice within west-central Scotland by providing comprehensive consultations and a way forward to people who seek to achieve optimal health.
The Clinic was opened by Joyce Laurie in 2006 who, as a Qualified Nurse, has a firm knowledge in the pathophysiology of many conditions affecting our health. After many years as a nurse, she became interested in and decided to pursue a foundation degree in nutritional therapy. She is a member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) which is the main governing body for Nutritional Therapy in the UK. Joyce is also a member of ARCH (Association & Register of Colon Hydrotherapists) which is the governing body for Colonic Hydrotherapy. Both these orgainsations are members of the Government funded Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, CNHC.
